William Earl "Tom" Gregory

Mr. William Earl “Tom” Gregory, age 77, of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 4:37 PM at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hillsdale Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 30th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 1st from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Monday, 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Monday.

Tom was born December 19th, 1941 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Paul Gregory and the late Eula Fay Law Gregory.  He is also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Vernon Gregory and a sister, Alice Fay Finn.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 58 years, Linda Forshee Gregory.  He has 4 children, a daughter, Rhonda Gregory of Franklin, KY, a son, Kevin Gregory (Leslie) of Franklin, KY, a son, Brian Gregory (Julie) of Franklin, KY, a son, Christopher Gregory (Darla) of Franklin, KY, he has 7 grandchildren, William Farmer, Taylor and Makayla Gregory, Korbin and Gaina Gregory, Corey Gregory and Brad Griffin, he has 10 great- grandchildren, Lily Farmer, Isabel Farmer, Ella Farmer, Sophia Farmer, Walker Lockhart, Hunter Griffin, Harrison Gregory, Skylar Gregory, Abagail Griffin and Preslee Hand and 1 great-great-grandson, Tolliver Farmer, he has 1 brother Cody Gregory (Fay) of Portland, TN, he also has several nieces and nephews.

Tom was a member of the Liberty General Baptist Church.  He was retired from Dana Corporation and from farming.
