Virginia "Jenny" Lee Short

Ms. Virginia “Jenny” Short, age 55, of Franklin, KY passed away on Thursday, March 11th, 2021 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15th, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 15th, 2021 at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in Sulphur Spring Cemetery.

Jenny was born on December 2nd, 1965 in Lebanon, TN to the late Franklin Short and the late Ruth Rush Short.  She is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Franklin Short, Jr. and “Baby Boy”; and 1 sister, Linda Aleen Short.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Tosha Adcock; 4 brothers, Doug Short, James Short, Mickey Short, Ricky Short; 1 sister, Iva Roach (Tony); lifelong companion, Gary Moss; 4 grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; cousin, Ruth Ann Neace (Mike); several nieces and nephews.

Jenny attended Fairview Baptist Church.  She was a people person, she loved Elvis Presley and jewelry.
