Thomas Alvin Gregory

Mr. Thomas “Thom” Alvin Gregory, age 56, of Franklin, KY, passed away Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at 3:30 AM at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12th, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11th, 2020, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and 6:00 AM until time of service Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Thom was born November, 12th, 1963 in Bowling Green, KY, to the late John Wesley Gregory, SR and RoseMary Gregory, whom survives.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Gregory, 2 daughters, Jennifer Gregory (Miles Olson) of Grand Junction, CO and Amanda Gregory of Franklin, KY. 3 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Gregory of Franklin, KY, Vickie Lee Keen (David) of Nashville, TN, Kimberly Chris Stradtner of Franklin, KY. and 2 brothers, John Wesley Gregory II (Jennifer) of Washington, D.C. formerly of Franklin, KY, and Mark Wayne Gregory of Franklin, KY., and many nieces and nephews.

Thom was a former member of Round Pond Presbyterian Church of Franklin, KY. He graduated from Franklin Simpson High school in 1981 and attended college at Western Kentucky University where he received a degree in mathematics and a minor in physics. He was also employed at New Gannett as a General Manager of production for 29 years.
