Teresa Gail (Gregory) Strain

Mrs. Gail Strain, age 62, of Orlinda, TN, passed away on Friday, July 30th, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 11:00 AM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Franklin, KY with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Orlinda, TN.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, from 8:00 AM to funeral service time.

Gail was born on August 27, 1958 in Franklin, KY to the late William “Tractor Bill” Gregory and the late Christine Stewart Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Strain; 2 children, Pete Strain (Stephanie McMillin) of Lewisburg, KY and Joshua Alan Strain (Ashley Milby) of Franklin, KY; 2 grandchildren, Taegan Strain and Sawyer Strain; a brother, Charlie Gregory of Chicago, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Gail was a 1976 graduate of Franklin Simpson High School.  She was a customer service representative for the Daido Corporation, Portland, TN for 16 years.  Gail enjoyed baking, cooking and gardening.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 3049 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Orlinda, TN 37141.  Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
