Ricky Leon Elliot

Mr. Richard "Ricky" Leon Elliott, age 56, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 3:00 AM at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6th, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 7th, 2023 from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7th at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Ricky was born on October, 3rd, 1966 in Nashville, TN to Janice Collins Elliott.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Howard Algood whom raised him; and a brother, not by blood, Timmy Boyd.

Ricky is survived by a sister, Sabrina Boyd (Scott Madden) of Franklin, KY; nephew, Tony Boyd (Heather Reynolds) of Franklin, KY; brother, not by blood, Scott Madden of Ventora, CA; 1 son, Casey Elliott (Charli) of Hartsville, TN; 2 daughters, Nikki Elliott of Gallatin, TN and Chasity Elliott of Bowling Green, KY.

He was self-employed as a roofing contractor. Ricky was of Baptist faith. His love and passion was Harley-Davidson motorcycles and swapping and trading. Ricky enjoyed watching Survivor and Big Brother and mostly all reality shows and spending time with his family and friends. He thought of Luther Bratton as a father and Anibal and Mike was his best friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 325 West Cedar Street, Franklin, KY 42134, to help with Mr. Elliott's final expenses. Donations may be mailed or dropped off at the funeral home.
