Norma Joyce (Finn) Henderson

Mrs. Norma Joyce Finn Henderson, age 89, of Franklin, KY passed away on Monday, November 29th, 2021 at 4:47 PM at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory and on Saturday from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Joyce was born May 4th, 1932, in Simpson Co., KY to the late Edgar Bogan Finn and the late Vera Christine Law. She was the wife of the late Herschel Louis Henderson. She was preceded in death by her son Rickey Darrell Henderson.

She is survived by her 4 children, Louis Henderson (Jennifer), Brenda Henderson Brown, Micheal Henderson, Jeff Henderson (Michelle) of Franklin, KY, 12 grandchildren, Jim Henderson, Scott Henderson, Amy Elliott, Jake Henderson, Kristi Henderson, Natasha Tinsley, Cari Stewart, Eric Henderson, Josh Henderson, Tyler Botts, Katie Henderson, and Andrew Henderson, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Joyce was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church and American Legion Post 62 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Sealed Power Manufacturer.

Our mother was such a kind and loving person. She worked hard and raised a good family. She loved to work in her flowers, sew, cook, but most of all she loved her family. She loved the Sunday dinners, the traditional holidays where all the family would come to her home and visit. She was loved by many friends, neighbors and her large family.
