Ms. Melisha Shaffer, age 41, passed away on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 in Simpson County. 

No public services are to be held. 

Melisha was born on December 20, 1979 in Hendersonville, TN to the late James Edward Shaffer and the late Lillian Anne (Cullen) Shaffer.

She is survived by a daughter, Alivia Levnjack of Spring Hill, TN; a twin sister, Melanie Hamlett (Robert) of Portland, TN; twin nieces, Lilly and Layla Shaffer; and an aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Wayne Hamlett of Greenbrier, TN.

Melisha was a graduate of Aquinas College, in Nashville, TN where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.  She worked as a registered nurse for 15 years.  She was of Catholic faith.  Melisha could play the fiddle. 

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to Survivors of Suicide Support Group at 428 A Center Street, Bowling Green, KY  42101.  They meet the 3rd Thursday of every month.  For more information, contact Katelyn Traughber Simpson at 502-599-4408.

She was a good person in a hard world. She deserved better than this out of life. I wish she could have found a way to have it. I will miss her, and I will never forget her.

I remember every shift I had with you , you would always run to the store and grab me my favorite a Red Bull ! I remember when you first got your car we went for a spin around the block . I’m really sad about this , I wish things were different . Rest well M !
