Kathy Jeannette (Lucas) Nichols

Ms. Kathy Jeanette Nichols, age 53, of Scottsville, KY, passed away on Friday, August 6th, 2021 at 12:05 PM at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 10th at 5:00 PM at Reeder Cemetery on Hack Brown Road in Simpson County.  Ms. Nichols wishes were to be cremated.

Kathy was born on January 28, 1968 in Franklin, KY to her late father, William Frank Lucas, Sr. and her mother, Gracie Hodges, whom survives.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Raymond Nichols, Jr. and a sister, Lisa Ann Lucas.

She is survived by her 3 children, Charles Nichols of Scottsville, KY, Carl Raymond Nichols, III of Scottsville, KY and Kellie Jo Nichols of Scottsville, KY; 9 grandchildren, Nila Nichols, Amiaha Nichols, Steven Nichols, Christian Nichols, Harley Nichols, Xavier Nichols, Paxton Nichols, Aden Cloud and Zachary Cloud; her mother, Gracie Hodges of Franklin, KY; siblings, Mary Elizabeth Slack of Franklin, KY, William Frank Lucas, Jr. of Dixon, TN, William Jesse Lucas of Portland, TN, William Joseph Lucas of Portland, TN, Bobby Lucas of Franklin, KY, Eugene Lucas of Franklin, KY and Becky Basham of Bowling Green, KY.

Kathy was a cook for Medco Nursing Facility in Franklin, KY.
