Jimmy Lee Uhls

Mr. Jimmy L. Uhls, age 65, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 27th, 2022 at 10:09 PM at the Medical Center of Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 1st from 6:00 AM to funeral service time.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.

Jimmy was born on December 6, 1956 in Simpson County, KY to the late James D. Uhls and the late Georgia (Brownsfield) Lee.

He is survived by an aunt, Ann Brownfield Reeder of Bowling Green, KY; an uncle, Ross Uhls of Franklin, KY; several cousins; and his hunting buddies.

Jimmy was a farmer.  He was a member of the Kentucky State Tractor Pullers.  Jimmy enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Blackjack Cemetery, c/o Kenneth Utley.  Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
