Jefferson "Jeff" Walter Neal, Jr.

Mr. Jefferson Walter “Jeff” Neal, Jr., age 58, of Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy (Freas) Neal and J.W. Neal; his grandparents, Minnie Bess and Tom Freas and Allie V. and Garlon Neal; his aunt, Glenda Madison, his uncle, Larry Freas and his cousin, Tom Barger.

Jeff was a 1983 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School where he played football and baseball.  He graduated from Western Kentucky University where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and served as President.

Jeff spent his career assisting & investing in individuals and businesses.  He worked for Northwestern Mutual Life, Guardian Life Insurance and MassMutual Life Insurance.  Jeff was President of Capital Management Consulting.

He is survived by his daughter, Ella J. Neal and his son, Michael Kelly and his wife, Macy; grandchildren, Sullivan and Neal.  He is also survived by his sister, Nanette Key and her husband, Larry; his aunt, Debbie Freas; and his cousins, Vonda Vaught, Brian Freas and Cheri Natcher.  He had many friends who were considered family.

His funeral service will be at 1:00 PM (CST) on Thursday, November, 16, 2023 at the Frankin First United Methodist Church, 107 North College Street in Franklin, KY with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankin, KY.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM (CST) until service time.
