Geraldine Cook

Mrs. Geraldine Cook, age 82, of Franklin, KY, passed away Monday, October 26th, 2020 at 4:55 AM at The Hopkins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Woodburn, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home and on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 from 6:00 AM until funeral service time.  Funeral services will be held at Gilbert Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 28th, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Geraldine was born on December 18th, 1937 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Woodrow Wilson Cox and the late Lucille Stringer Cox.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Grey Cook and a sister, Patsy Ruth Cox.

She is survived by 4 children, Jeffery Scott Cook (Debra Kay) of Franklin, KY, Jimmy Grey Cook (Alice) of Franklin, KY, Nicole Cook of Franklin, KY, Mark Allen Cook of Franklin, KY; 5 grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Cook, Justin Tyler Cook, Joseph Grey Cook, Ciera Alexis Cook, Macie Scarbrough; 2 great grandchildren, River Motley Davis and Rylee Jean Cook; 1 sister, Judy Mann of Horn Lake, MS; 1 niece, Sherry Britt McBroom.

Geraldine was a 1957 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School.  She attended Franklin Community Church in Franklin, KY.  Geraldine worked at Lenk Manufacturing/Drackett in Franklin, KY and Crown Coating in Portland, TN.  She enjoyed babysitting children and watching crime shows.
