Garnetta Estes

Mrs. Garnetta Estes, age 71, of Franklin, KY passed away Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at 9:20 AM at her residence.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM  Tuesday, March 28th 2023 and from 6:00 AM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 at funeral home with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Garnetta was born May 4th, 1951 in Johnson Co., Kentucky to the late Galen Hall and the late Nannie Clark Hall.  She was the wife of the late Robert Neely “Bear” Estes.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Gladys Marie Caskey and Diane Cowles McCormick.

Garnetta is survived by 3 children, Veronica “Ronnie” Burton (Shawn) of Franklin, KY, David Henry (Holly) of Bowling Green, KY, Jessica Ann Estes of Berea, KY; 9 grandchildren, Tyler Cline, Troy Cline, Haley Burton, Harley Burton, Logan Henry, Luke Henry, Zoey Henry, Colt Tuttle and Merit Kendall, 5 great grandchildren, Audrey Vaden, Laylynn Cline, Abery Vaden, Coastyn Cline and Kashton Cline; 8 siblings, Jessie Everson, Dorothy Williams, Milburn Hall, Ricky Hall, Donald “Duck” Hall, Launa Stevens, Patty Wilkerson and Jerry Hall all of Franklin, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Garnetta was retired waitress and cook and a homemaker.  She enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with her grandchildren.
