Earldean (Neal) Allen

Mrs. Earldean Allen, age 92, of Franklin, KY, passed away, Sunday, January 26th, 2020, at 8:14 PM at the Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2020 with burial to follow in the McKendree Chapel Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2020 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Earldean was born August 1, 1927 in Livingston, TN to the late Ed Neal and the late Mary Etta Poston Neal.  She was the wife of the late Larry Franklin Allen.  She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Edward Allen, a daughter, Linda Sue Allen and a granddaughter Tammy LaFever.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Mary Ann Travelstead (L.B.) of Franklin, KY, Frankie Allen Booth of Franklin, KY and Ruby Jean Smith (Dannie) of Woodburn, KY, 4 grandchildren, Lisa Chandler, Frank Booth, Kim Farmer and Jill Smith, 3 great grandchildren, Katie Hightower and Cameron and Conner Farmer, a brother Paul Neal of Franklin, KY, 3 sisters, Mary Cook of Portland, TN, Evelyn Stein of Nashville, TN and Daisy Neal of St. Augustine, FL.

Earldean was a member of the McKendree Chapel Church and was retired from Potter & Brumfield.
