Ms. Donna Claypool, age 49, of Franklin, KY passed away on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at her residence.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 from 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12th at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Donna was born on January 8, 1974 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Donard Carlton Claypool and the late Wilma June (Hubbard) Claypool. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Russell "Bubby" Dale Reynolds; maternal grandparents, John and Flossie Mae Hubbard; and 6 aunts and uncles.
Donna is survived by 4 children, Cody “Dakota” Rich (Stephanie) of Bowling Green, KY, Jordan Rich of Franklin, KY, Brett Krantz (Tori) of Franklin, KY and Megan Krantz Jones (Dustin) of Bowling Green, KY; 7 grandchildren, Kensley Jones, Maddox Jones, Walker Rich, Lynlee Rich, Tatum Jones, Benson Krantz and Breelyn Krantz; companion, Josh Posey and his children all of Franklin, KY; 3 sisters, Sherri Trowbridge (Allen) of Bowling Green, KY, Kristy Cartas (Chris) of Logan County, KY and Kasey Hazel (Mandy) of Bowling Green, KY; 3 nieces, Jessica Carter (Russell), Sydnee Trowbridge and Addison Cartas; 6 nephews, Donard Trowbridge, Nathan Trowbridge, Kylar Trowbridge, Colebey Trowbridge, Hayden Cartas, Baylor Cartas; several great-nieces, great-nephews and a great-great-niece; 2 uncles, Ronnie Hubbard (Mary Sue) of Medina, TN and Ronnie Hazel (Debbie Mann) of Bowling Green, KY; and a host of cousins.
Donna worked at the VFW Post#5706 and was a great bartender. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and the Cooties Organization. Donna loved to make everyone around her smile, she loved her kids more than anything in this world, she liked to gamble, throw darts, play pool and cards.
Mom loved her family and would do anything for them. She loved getting together and making memories. Moms smile was contagious, and was always great to be around. If you got the chance to have met her you would known how special of a friend and mother she was. She never met a stranger she loved everyone like God wishes everyone would do. She didn’t think she was perfect but everyone else did. She was so amazing in every way. The heart was just so pure and beautiful to anyone who needed it. She loved us kids to infinity and nobody could stop her love for us. She was truly the most amazing women.
