Mrs. Della M. Halliburton Cardwell, age 89 of Portland, TN, died at May 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Signature Healthcare in Portland, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Della was born November 4, 1929 in Simpson Co., KY. to the late John Halliburton and the late Pearl Poston Halliburton.  She was preceded in death by 3 sisters Mattie Phillips, Josephine Halliburton, and Helen Hollars and 4 brothers Arnold, Thomas, David, and James Halliburton.

She is survived by a sister Lillian Warren of Portland, TN. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Della was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church and had attended the Fairview Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday, May 13, 2019 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
