David Lee Akin

Mr. David Lee Akin, age 60, of Franklin, KY entered into rest Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 9:08 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home.  Per David’s wishes, cremation was chosen with no services

David was born December 19, 1958 in Logan Co., KY to Joe Duncan Akin who survives of Westmoreland, TN and Mary Ellen Gomer Fagg who survives of Franklin, KY.

He is survived by his children Ashley Bentley of Mt. Juliet, TN, Holly Randolph of Fayetteville, NC and Wesley Dallas of Franklin, KY, 2 brothers Bruce and Steve Akin both of Franklin, KY and 3 grandchildren.

David was a self-employed in construction.
