Carylene Marie (Macklem) Stevenson

Mrs. Carylene Marie Stevenson, age 80, of Adairville, KY, passed away, Thursday, April 15th, 2021 at 11:35 PM at the Franklin-Simpson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, KY.

Mrs. Stevenson’s wishes were to be cremated.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, April 25th, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Adairville United Methodist Church, 205 North Church Street in Adairville, KY 42202.  If you are unable to attend in person, the Service will be live streamed through Facebook.  (Search on Facebook for Adairville United Methodist Church.)

Carylene was born on January 19th, 1941 in Rogers City, MI to the late Lawson Glenn Macklem and the late Miriam Dorothy (Schultz) Macklem.  She grew up in Cedarville, MI.  Carylene is also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Stevenson of Pickford, MI.  Together they had lived many years in the Franklin, KY area.

She is survived by her 4 children, Lori Stevenson (Pat Gehling) of Newark, OH, Jan Stevenson-Laurent (James Laurent) of Adairville, KY, Ted Stevenson (Lori) of Pleasant View, TN and Suzi Fuller (Thame) of Lynnwood, WA; 8 grandchildren, Amanda Wolff, Emily Wolff, Caleb Laurent, Kaleigh Laurent, Joe Stevenson, Rebecca Fuller, Ryan Fuller and Nicole Fuller; a sister, Sherry Savola of Waunakee, WI; a brother, Mick Macklem of Antigo, WI; and her dachshund Killer Cupcake.

Carylene was a member of Adairville United Methodist Church in Adairville, KY.  She was a customer service manager for Wal-Mart before retirement.  Carylene liked to read and work puzzles.  She was also a talented artist.  She loved animals and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
