Mrs. Yvonnie Laslie Rothrock, age 87, of West View, KY, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 10:03 AM at Cal Turner Nursing & Rehab in Scottsville, KY.

Mrs. Rothrock's wishes are to be cremated with no services.

Yvonnie was born on June 17, 1938 in West View, KY to the late Mallow Laslie and Helen (Wheatley) Cress. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Rothrock; a brother, Donnie Laslie; and a sister, Colleen Thornton.

She is survived by one daughter, Lachiel Thompson (Ralph) of Portland, TN; and one granddaughter, Kirsty Monnette (Ben) of Chattanooga, TN.

Yvonnie was a member of Rhodes Memorial Methodist Church in West View, KY, Hardinsburg VFW Post #5831 and Grayson County Moose Lodge #2453. She was owner and operator the Dairy Cup in West View, KY. Yvonnie was a lover of people and never met a stranger. She also was a Big Blue UK fan and made many an SEC tournament trip to Nashville with her daughter. She inspired all of those around her to love life and live it to the fullest!
