Willie Ben "W.B." Adams

Mr. Willie Ben “W.B.” Adams, age 84 of Franklin, KY passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.

Graveside service will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodburn Cemetery in Woodburn, KY.

W.B. was born on August 23rd, 1940 in Barren Plains, TN to the late Willie Ben Adams, Sr. and the late Eunice Hollingsworth Adams. He was preceded in death by a sister, Benny Wilson.

He is survived by his spouse of 59 years, Margaret Ann Chapman Adams; 2 children, Cynthia Louise Hughes (Quentin) of Woodburn, KY and Brian Christopher Adams (Larissa) of Woodburn, KY; 6 grandchildren, Bryon, Trent, Jack, Luke, Faith, and Grace; a brother, Jackie H. Adams of Destin, FL and several nieces and nephews.

W. B. was a member and former deacon at Woodburn Baptist Church. He was a graduate of the Franklin-Simpson High School, class of 1958. He was a longtime farmer in Simpson Co., KY and had served on the Simpson County Adjustment Board and Planning and Zoning Board. He was Kentucky Colonel.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Woodburn Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 38, Woodburn, KY 42170.
