William "Bill" Harold Kendall

Mr. William “Bill” Harold Kendall, age 84 of Indianapolis, IN., entered into rest Monday, July 4, 2016 at 9:51 PM at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

Mr. Kendall was born Nov. 14, 1931 in Sumner Co., TN. to the late Robert Cook Kendall and the late Mary Myrtle Smalling Kendall.  He was preceded in death by a son Danny C. Kendall and a daughter Daphne J. Kendall.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Nellie Murray Kendall, children Donna Spence (Phil) of Hardinsburg, KY., Denise Hendricks (Doug) of Indianapolis, IN., Deedee Craig (Mike) of Indianapolis, IN., Dennis Kendall (Summer) of Ashville, NC., 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, brother Willard Kendall (Monica) of Hendersonville, TN., 2 sisters Shirley Johnson (Jimmy) of Oakland, KY. and Mary Moseley of Russellville, KY. and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Mr. Kendell was a Korean War Veteran serving 17 months in the Army, he retired from Cargill Inc. after 45 years.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Friday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home
