William Rickey Wims

Mr. William Rickey Wims, age 65 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Sunday, April 8, 2018 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. There will be no services. Cremation was chosen.

Mr. Wims was born August 2, 1952 in Simpson Co., KY to the late William Winford Wims and Evelina Williamson Wims of Franklin, KY who survives him.  He was preceded in death by his son Michael Brandon Wims and brother Mark Wims.

He is survived by his daughters Shelley Larson of Blufton, SC and Jesika Wims of San Antonia, TX; 3 grandchildren Brooke Larson, Brilee Larson and Jedreck Garibay.

Mr. Wims was retired from NASA and currently an employee of the Yellow Cab of Southern Kentucky.
