Mr. Wayne Herrington, age 74 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Friday, July 21, 2017 at 5:33 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2017 with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY.
Mr. Herrington was born February 26, 1943 in Warren Co., KY. to the late Clevo Herrington and the late Rievey Glover Herrington. He was preceded in death by a daughter Delores Herrington.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Herrington, a son David Herrington of Franklin, KY., 2 step-sons Ricky and Mark Hartsock both of Franklin, KY., 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.
Mr. Herrington was a member of the Hillsdale Baptist Church, and retired from Potter & Brumfield and Paradise Marine Inc.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Saturday, July 22, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
