Wayne Brown

Mr. Wayne Brown, age 65 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 12:07 P.M. at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 26, 2015 with burial to follow in the McKendree Chapel Church in Simpson Co., KY.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Jay Wilson Brown and the late Leslie Owens Brown. He was preceded in death by a brother Arnold Brown and  a sister Joyce Rippy.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn White Brown, a daughter Karen Monroe (Troy) of Franklin, Ky., 2 grandchildren Peri and Addison Monroe,  4 sisters Doris Edwards of Russellville, Ky., Shirley Harris of Franklin, KY., Nancy Brown of Nashville, TN. and Donna Whitten of Georgia, 4 brothers Glenn Brown, Paul Brown, Darrell Brown all of Franklin, Ky. and Charles Brown of Macon Co., TN.

Mr. Brown was a member of the McKendree Chapel Church and was employed at Lincoln Elementary School as custodian, and a farmer.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 and from 6:00 A.M. until funeral service time on Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
