Vina Lee Higginbotham

Mrs. Vina Lee Higginbotham, age 77, of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 5:45 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 7, 2017 with burial to follow in the Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

A native of Russell Co., KY. she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Kean and the late Mary Mertie Hlems Kean.  She was the wife of the late William Andrew Higginbotham.  4 sisters and 5 brothers preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Rick Higginbotham (Debbie) of Franklin, KY., a granddaughter Christy Higginbotham Link (Justin) of Woodburn, KY., 2 great grandchildren Jayden Cole Link and Mary Finn Link and a brother Bruce Kean of Franklin, IN.

Mrs. Higginbotham was a member of the Blackjack Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
