Mrs. Sue Rowland, age 84, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 9:27 am at Auburn Healthcare in Auburn, KY.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service will be held the same day, Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 at 11:00 am.
Sue was born on February 5, 1940 in Franklin, KY to the late Lacey Ruley and the late Julia Pauline (Delk) Ruley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Don Rowland; 3 sisters, Patsy Hall, Ruth Gouvas and Linda Baldwin; and a great-aunt, Jennie Delk.
She is survived by 3 children, Donna Cherry of Franklin, KY, Elizabeth Kirkpatrick (Travis) of Franklin, KY and John Rowland (Ayme) of Bowling Green, KY; 4 grandchildren, Preston Rowland (Irma), Derek Hines, Maura Rowland and Jaxson Rowland; 1 step-granddaughter, Madalene Shofner, 1 great-grandson, Liam Clark Rowland; 1 step-great-grandson, Ben Sehic; and 1 sister, Julia Cline of Virginia.
Sue was a member of Salmons General Baptist Church. She was retired from Crabtree Furniture.
