Shelia Starr (Pendley) Bryant

Mrs. Shelia Starr Bryant, age 69, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 2:20 PM at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  Funeral services will be held on the same day, Monday, November 6th at 2:00 PM with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Shelia was born on March 25, 1954 in Muhlenburg County, KY to the late James Pendley and the late Madeline (Warner) Pendley.  She is also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Billy Bryant; a son, Shawn Bryant; sister, Jan Pendley; and brother, Buddy Pendley.

She is survived by 1 son, Jamie Bryant of Bowling Green, KY; 4 siblings, Steve Pendley (Marilyn) of Muhlenburg County, KY, Brenda Majors of Central City, KY, Rick Pendley of Muhlenburg County, KY and Von Andrews of Illinois; sister-in-law, Martha Pendley; and several nieces and nephews.

Shelia was of Baptist faith.  She enjoyed watching cooking shows and medical shows, such as the Good Doctor and 9-1-1 with her son.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Gilbert Funeral Home, 325 West Cedar Street, Franklin, KY.  42134 to help with Mrs. Bryant's final expenses.
