Mr. Roger Dale Cothern, age 64, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, April 1, 2016 at 8:05 PM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, 4, 2016 with burial to follow in the Providence Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Lawrence Gray Cothern and the late Euree Kirkland Cothern. He was preceded in death by a brother Leon Cothern.
He is survived by his wife Judy Drake Cothern of Franklin, KY.; a son Jeff Cothern (Robbie) of Franklin, KY. and a daughter Kim Cothern Potts of Oakland, KY.; 2 sisters Linda Mann (Ray) of Franklin, KY. and Clara Dinning of Bowling Green, KY.; a brother Jimmy Cothern (Judy) of Franklin, KY.; 4 grandchildren Josh Cothern, Garrett Cothern, Cody Potts, Abby Potts and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cothern was a farmer and truck driver for Hudson Farm Service. He was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2016 and 6:00 AM Monday until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
