Robert Alton Byrum

Mr. Robert A. Byrum age 88 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 4:35 PM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Hamilton Byrum and the late Ila Lee Wright Byrum.
He is survived by his wife Mayzelle Harris Byrum of Franklin, KY., step-daughter Rita Brown and brother Gayle Bryum (Vicky) all of Bowling Green, KY.; step- granddaughter Debbie Gooch (Frank), step-great grandson Cameron and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Byrum was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ, a retired employee of the KY State Road Dept. and an Army veteran.
Visitation begin Saturday at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM Sunday until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
