Mr. Robert “Mickey” Brady, age 73 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 7:32 PM the Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab Facility in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 27, 2017 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
Mr. Brady was born December 6, 1944 in Simpson Co., KY. to the late Robert Baird Brady and the late Edna Earl Taylor Brady. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters Michelle Brady and Tina Brady King and 2 sisters JoAnn Smith and Margaret Paradis.
He is survived by his wife Stella Brady, a son Mike Brady (Tammy) of Franklin, KY., a son-in-law Kerry King of Rockfield, KY., a sister Marie Phillips of Louisville, KY., 5 grandchildren Matt King (Leah), Adam Brady (Kelsey), Zach King, Saul and Seth Brady and a great grandchild Rhealyn Napier.
Mr. Brady was a member of the Halltown General Baptist Church. He was Plant supervisor for Dayton-Walther Manufacturing and was an avid UK Fan.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, November 26, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Monday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
