Peggy J. Craddock

Mrs. Peggy J. Craddock, age 91, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

 Visitation will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY. Funeral service will be held on the same day at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

 Peggy was born on July 7, 1934 in Albany, KY to the late Leonard Kyle Long and the late Susie Cummings Long. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, John Craddock and Sister, Sarah Ellis of Bowling Green, KY 

She is survived by two sons, Stephen Craddock (Neva) of Acworth, GA and Wesley Craddock (Kelly) of Cave Creek, AZ; six grandchildren, Jason Craddock, Kelly Kelley, Brittany Henderson, Cameron Kelly, Dane Silva, Briana Kicklighter; eleven great-grandchildren; Nieces, Anna Sue Heller and Nancy Chilton. 

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. She loved tending to her garden, getting lost in a good book, expressing her creativity through drawing, and dedicating her time to serving her community and church.

 In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Franklin First Baptist Church, 303 East Cedar Street, Franklin, KY 42134, envelopes will be provide at the funeral home.
