Mrs. Paula Christine “Christy” Henson, age 63 of Franklin, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 1:12 pm at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday May 25, 2025.

Christy was born December 5, 1961in Nashville, TN to the late Burl Allen and the late Evelyn (Settle) Burysek.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Henson; 2 children, Lacy Laidlaw (Kevin) of Odessa, TX and Jessica Houston of Franklin, KY; 2 grandchildren, Shelby Hawkins and Jada Houston; 2 brothers, Don Allen and Eddie Allen.

Christy was a member of the Victory Chapel Church, Portland, TN. She worked for the Sumner County Board of Education; she worked in the cafeteria for many years and was a teacher’s assistant for several years. Christy love Alabama football and loved to travel the beach.
