Nancy Carol (Walker) Weems

Mrs. Nancy C. Weems, age 78, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY.  Funeral services will be the same day, Saturday the 10th at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson County, KY.

Nancy was born on February 5, 1944, in Simpson County, KY to the late Claude Walker and the late Alice Burysek Walker.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Weems and a brother, David Walker.

She is survived by 2 sons, Jeff Weems (Holly) of Franklin, KY and Scott Weems (Christina) of White House, TN; 4 grandchildren, Lizzy Weems, Zac Weems, Ayden Weems and Helen Weems; and a sister, Dianne Pearson of Franklin, KY.

Nancy attended Calvary Baptist Church in Franklin, KY.  She was retired from The Kendall Company in Franklin, KY.  Nancy enjoyed her flowers, antiquing and loved going to Okeechobee, FL.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 804 Church Street, Franklin, KY 42134.  Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
