Michael Lynn Edens

Mr. Michael Lynn Edens, age 69, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Friday, May 7th, 2021 at 12:40 AM at his residence.

A Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY.  A visitation will be held before the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

Michael was born July 24th, 1951 to the late Paul Dewey Edens and the late Catherine Jane Stinson Edens.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cindy Edens; 2 children, Nicholas Sumner Edens of Canoga Park, CA and Katherine Jane Edens of Hendersonville, TN; a sister, Brenda Borders of White House, TN; 2 brothers, Mark Edens of Sewanee, TN and Matt Edens of Fredericksburg, MD; 4 nephews and 1 niece.

Michael was a retired TV animation writer.  Some of his shows included the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Exo Squad, and X-Men.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org under “Give in honor and memorial”.
