Melissa Diane Nichols

Ms. Melissa Diane Nichols, age 47, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at 3:15 AM at her residence.

Services are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  Cremation was chosen and services may be held at a later date.

Melissa was born on April 29, 1974 in Franklin, KY, to the late James Nichols.  She was preceded in death by her adopted mother, Beverly Nichols and a brother, Terry Nichols.

She is survived by 2 children, James Trammel of Franklin, KY, and Tera Trammel of Orange Park, FL; 3 grandchildren, Faith Grey, Kiyah Trammel and Emersyn Johnson; her mother, Deborah Nichols of Lafayette, TN; fiancé, David Williams of Franklin, KY; and a brother, Danny Nichols of Scottsville, KY.

Melissa loved to ride motorcycles and hunting.
