Maverick John Nathaniel West

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Maverick John Nathaniel West, cherished son, grandson, sibling, and a beacon of love to his family. Maverick was born on Thursday, August 6th, 2026, in Glasgow, Kentucky, and on the same blessed day, he left us to be in eternal peace.

His arrival was eagerly anticipated and celebrated by his family.

Maverick is survived by his loving parents, Josh and Patty West of Scottsville, KY. He leaves behind his paternal grandparents, Donald and Jody West and his maternal grandparents, Lee and Tosha Means, and Chrissy Hewitt. Maverick's life will be celebrated and remembered by his five siblings: Camryn West of Franklin, KY, Holly Harrison of Scottsville, KY, Nataleigh West of Franklin, KY, Marleigh West of Franklin, KY, and Kian Kirk of Scottsville, KY.

He is also cherished by his uncles Robert West, Will Means, Dakota Hyde, and Michael Means, and his aunts Christian Brown and Marsha Means; his great-aunt and uncle, Bobby and Jenny Lou West, and great-aunt, Angela Rose West.

Maverick was preceded in death by his brother, Ryker West, who now embraces him in heaven.
