Mrs. Mary Lucille Kinnaird Huffines Mortensen, age 90, of Goodlettsville, TN. entered into rest Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
A native of SimpsonCo., KY., she was the daughter of the late James Fred Kinnaird and the late Mary Virginia Meador Kinnaird. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Owen Huffines, a sister Ruby Webb, 3 brothers
Ernest Kinnaird, Hugh Douglas Kinnaird and James Kinnaird.
She is survived by a son Bobby Joe Huffines and wife Cathy of Cottontown, TN., 2 daughters: Mary Joyce Hethcoat of LaVerne, TN. and Beverly June Sloan of Goodlettsville, TN.; 5 Grandchildren: Christopher Dean Deweese, Shawn Everett Huffines, Wendy Dawn Huffines Swift, Dale Shannon Hethcoat and Krystle Dawn Hethcoat; 7 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mortensen was a life long Christian and loved the Lord. She loved her flowers, was an excellent seamstress and made beautiful quilts. She was employed as a cook in the restaurant business.
