Mary Ann (Hicks) Finn

Ms. Mary Ann Finn, age 79, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Mary was born February 19, 1944 in Franklin, KY to the late James Hicks and the late Nathalee (Henson) Hicks Mitchell. She is also preceded in death by 2 children, Kimberly Groves Myers and Robert E. Lee, Jr; 1 brother, James “Poncho” Hicks; and a bonus son, Terry Cassity.

She is survived by 2 children, Maribeth Madron (Steven Chao) of New York, NY, Danny Ray Finn, Jr. of Bowling Green, KY; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Mallard (Kaci), Todd Groves (Taylor), Robert E. Lee, III, Trent Lee (Kayla), Gabrielle Madron-Chao and Julian Madron-Chao; 5 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Donnie Murray of Bowling Green, KY; a sister, Linda Cassity of Franklin, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Mary was a member of Franklin Church of Christ. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, traveling, snorkeling and she loved her dogs.
