Mrs. Martha Walker age 99, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 8:35 AM at the Hopkins Care & Rehab Center in Woodburn, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 with burial to follow in the McKendree Chapel Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY. she was the daughter of the late Vinnie Clark and the late Sallie May Clark. A son Raymond Perdue preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Clark, 3 sisters Josephine Clark, Frances Leona Gass and Jenny Belle Rogers.
She is survived by a son Boone Walker (Marty) of Franklin, KY. and a sister Ruby Austin of Atlanta, GA.,4 grandchildren Jason Walker, Doug, Kelly and Steve Perdue, 5 great grandchildren Zack, Courtney and Grayson Perdue and Kaylee and Madalynn Walker.
Mrs. Walker was a member of the Church of Christ, Am Vets Post #110 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post#62 Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post #5706 Ladies Auxiliary, Order Eastern Star Ruth Electra #17 and MOC Auxiliary Pump tent #9
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM. until 9:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
