Mrs. Margaret Welch, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2:05 P.M. at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green, KY.
A native of Robertson Co., TN. she was the daughter of the late Elvis Floyd Welch and the late Lillie Lou Durrett Welch. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Betty Welch Roark and Jean Welch.
She is survived by a sister Jane Minnicks of Franklin, KY., a niece Cindy Trimmer and her husband Frank, a nephew Phil Minnicks and his wife Tiphane, a great niece Allyson Trimmer and 3 Great Nephews Logan Trimmer, Benjamin and Cooper Minnicks.
Mrs. Welch was a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxillary Unit # 62 where she was a past president, 50 year member of the Ruth Electra #17 Eastern Star and was a Kentucky Colonel. She was retired from Wicks Lumber Company.
