Maezelle Byrum

Mrs. Maezelle Byrum, age 91 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 6:15 PM at Hopkins Nursing and Rehab in Woodburn, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 19, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
A native of Franklin, KY., she was the daughter of the late Charley Harris and the late Ruth Moye Harris. She was preceded in death by her husbands Wallace Long, Donald M. Brown, Robert Byrum and her son Charles Long.
She is survived by her daughter Rita Brown of Bowling Green, KY.; 2 grandchildren Debbie Gooch (Frank) and Tony Long (Vickie); 3 great grandsons Cameron Gooch, Andrew Long and Phoenix Long.
Mrs. Byrum was a former employee of Potter & Brumfield and cafeteria worker as FS high school. She was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ and participated in Relay of Life for many years.
Visitation will begin Friday, August 18, 2017 at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM Saturday until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
