Lena Mae (Groves) Johnson

Mrs. Lena Mae Johnson, age 86, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 11:28 AM at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY.

She was born January 21, 1932 in Simpson Co., KY. to the late Cecil Groves and the late Elsie Carver Groves.  She was the wife of late George Johnson. 2 sisters Goldie Dillard Harper and Margaret Farmer preceded her in death.

She is survived by a niece Linda Hunter of Franklin, KY. and a nephew Paul Farmer of Franklin, KY.

Mrs. Johnson was a Baptist and a homemaker

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:45 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
