Mrs. Lela Estelle Pedigo, age 103 of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 6:07 AM at the Hopkins Center in Woodburn, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 6, 2015 with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY.
A native of Carthage, TN., she was the daughter of the late Robert Haney and the late Vallie Munday Haney. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Hayes Pedigo, a daughter Betty Jo Neal and a son Charles Hawes.
She is survived by a daughter Sybil Groves of Franklin, KY., 3 sons Clarence Ray Hawes of Shelbyville, TN., Billy Pedigo (Sally) and Kenneth “Red” Pedigo (Joyce) all of Franklin, KY.; 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great -great grandchildren.
Mrs. Pedigo was a homemaker and a member of the Drakes Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will begin Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM Friday until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
