Mr. L.C. Hines, age 72, of Franklin, KY., died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 8:30 P..M. at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Logan Co., KY., he was the son of the late Otis Hines and the late Frances McElwain Hines. He was preceded in death by a son Leonard Dwight Hines.
He is survived by his wife Carol Ogles Hines; 2 Sons: Ricky Hines and wife Janet of Franklin, KY. and Jeff Hines and wife Rachel of Portland, TN.; a daughter Sherry Hines Sullivan of Franklin, KY.; 3 Step-sons; Mike Spivey of Greenbrier, TN., Jessie Spivey and Wendall Frank Spivey both of Portland, TN. 2 Brothers: Elmer Hines of Auburn, KY. and Sammy Hines of Russellville, KY.; a Sister Jean Manning of Lewisburg, KY.; 2 half Brothers: Robert Hines of Scottsburg, IN. and Danny Hines of Austin, IN.; 3 half Sisters: Virginia Fields, Helen Hughes and Christine Wrighthouse all of Austin, IN.
15 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Hines was a retired employee of the Kendall Co. and member of the Greenwood Freewill Baptist Church.
