Mr. Larry Keith Mercer age 68, of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 9:05 PM at his residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 18, 2017. Cremation will follow the services
A native of Franklin, KY. he was the son of the late Wallace Keith Mercer and the late Donnie Spears Mercer.
He is survived by his wife Inez Gregory Mercer, 2 children Larry Mercer, Jr. and Angela Mercer both from Long Island, NY., a step-son Jamie Dinning (Marleen Wright) of Franklin, KY., a brother Tim Mercer of St. Petersburg, FL. and 3 grandchildren.
Mr. Mercer was a member of the Woodburn Baptist Church, Vietnam Veterans, American Legion Post #62, VFW Post# 5706 and Franklin Country Club. He was an avid golfer and loved to fish. He was a Marine veteran serving in Vietnam, and retired from Air National Guard and the US Post Office.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM service time Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
