Larry Thomas Freas

Mr. Larry T. Freas, age 71 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7:56 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Franklin Church of Christ. Cremation will follow the service.
Mr. Freas was born November 6, 1946 in Franklin, KY. to the late Earl Thomas Freas and the late Minnie Bess Freas. 2 sisters Glenda Freas Madison and Nancy Freas Neal and a nephew Tom “Bubby” Barger preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Freas, a daughter Vonda Vaught (Darrell) Greenville, KY., a son Brian Freas of Franklin, KY., 4 grandchildren Shaelyn, Andrew, Adam and Austin Vaught, 2 nieces Cheri Natcher of Bowling Green, KY., Nanette Key of Bethpage, TN. and a nephew Jeff Neal of Louisville, KY.
Mr. Freas was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. He was formerly Mayor of Franklin, KY. and has also served a city clerk, he also was owner of the Townhouse Restaurant and Freas construction.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service time Friday at the Franklin Church of Christ.
