A Simpson Co., Ky. native, Mr. Larry W. Chaffin, age 65 of Mitchellville, TN. entered into rest Friday, July 7, 2017 at 7:04 PM at his residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 11, 2017 with burial to follow in the Old Union Church Cemetery in Warren Co., KY.
Mr. Chaffin was born November 4, 1951 in Warren Co., KY. to the late Myrl Chaffin and Jean Crawford Chaffin who survives of Rich Pond, KY. A brother Roger Chaffin preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children Jason Chaffin (Jeannie) of Portland, TN., Jared Chaffin of Lebanon, TN., Brian Michael Chaffin and Wendy Chaffin both of Franklin, KY., 3 brothers Donnie Chaffin of Franklin, KY., Joe Chaffin and Mike Chaffin both of Bowling Green, KY., and a sister Judy Chaffin of Franklin, KY., grandchildren Jakob, Colton, Hunter and Ava Chaffin and 2 step grandchildren Kaitlyn and Gavin Bilyeu.
Mr. Chaffin was a former employee at Napa auto parts and was a store manager at the Stateline Market in Portland. He love working on his hot rod cars.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday, July 10, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
