It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kim Marie Cooper, who left us on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. Born on February 25th, 1970, in Poughkeepsie, NY, Kim was a resident of Simpson County, KY, where she spent many wonderful years bringing love to those around her.

Kim dedicated her professional life as an Office Manager at Valley Ridge Concrete, where her exceptional skills and dedication left a lasting impact. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kim was known for her love of shopping and her unwavering devotion to family, always cherishing the time spent with loved ones.

Her beloved husband of 33 years, John Marino of Franklin, KY, survives Kim. She is also survived by her mother, Virginia Cooper of Franklin, KY; her siblings, Dennis Cooper and Robbie Cooper; her Uncle Chuck and Aunt Mary Jakubek of Poughquag, NY; several cousins; and her beloved fur baby, Amber, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Cooper, whose memory she cherished throughout her life.

Services will be private. Pallbearers honoring Kim's memory will include John Marino, Dennis Cooper, Robbie Cooper, Paul Hefner, Chris Eaton and Will Carter.
