Kay (Brumfield) Hurt

Mrs. Kay Hurt, age 68 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 4:53 PM at the Commonwealth Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 with burial to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville, KY.
Mrs. Hurt was born February 18, 1949 in Todd Co., KY. to the late Howard Brumfield and the late Rosie McElwain Brumfield. She was the wife of the late Richard Hurt and was preceded in death by 2 brothers Tommy and Clifton Brumfield.
She is survived by her children Kim Caudill (Royce) of Franklin, KY., Beverly Andrews (Hal) of Bowling Green, KY. and Kyle Todd of Franklin, KY., a sister Jean Vetter of Franklin, KY., a brother Jeff Brumfield of Greenville, KY. 6 grandchildren Sierra Bontrager, Brandi Caudill, Arriane and Bethany Andrews, Gabe Todd and Ryker Todd, 2 great grandchildren Kaycen Bontrager and Alyceah Low.
Mrs. Hurt was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was waitress for many years.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2017 and from 6:00 Am until funeral service time on Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
