Mrs. Karon Lee Medley, age 58 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 11:48 PM at her residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2016. Cremation will follow the services.
Mrs. Medley was born in Franklin, KY. on November 12, 1957 to the late David Parmalee Martin and the late Martha Jane James Martin.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Medley, 4 children Niki Caudill(Westley) of Franklin, KY., Brittany Grubb(Jordan) of Russellville, KY., Daniel Medley of Franklin, KY. and Karlee Medley of Boston, MA., a sister Kathy Martin Cook of Boston, MA. and a brother David Parmalee Martin, II of Lexington, KY., 4 grandchildren Kailyn Maryann Rouse, Abbigail Catherine Caudill, Mia Reice Caudill and Jolynn Marie Medley.
Mrs. Medley was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church, she graduated from Franklin Simpson High School in 1975 where she was a majorette with the marching band, she attended the University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University. She was an auditor for the Dollar General Corporation.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday June 29, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
