Mrs. June Jenkins Barnett, age 84 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 5:25 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2016 with burial to follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
Mrs. Barnett was born January 23, 1932 in Simpson Co., KY. to the late Hughie and Daisie Gray Jenkins. She was the wife of the late Buddy Barnett.
She is survived by 2 sisters Catherine Forshee and Lois (Ken) Sadler both of Franklin, KY. and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Barnett was a long time member of the Hillsdale Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Wednesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
